Iran’s nuclear ambition is World War III in motion

October 19, 2008 by Forsaken

Iran and its continuing nuclear ambitions make up the bulk of the ongoing political issues in the world today. Things have never changed with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad promising to wipe off Israel from the face of the earth.

Iran also has close association with some of the terrorist groups in operation, such as Hezbollah. The country also has made pacts with some middle eastern countries, namely Syria that they would be allies in any circumstances with involve either of them in international disputes. Moreover, these countries which have rectified the pact, harbor and fund well known terrorist groups within their borders. The two sissy’s of the world, Russia and China always take up the side of Iran since Iran is the biggest buyers of their weapons and civilian nuclear technologies. The two sissy’s have even publicly announced of their support for Iran in any event of a country attacking Iran.

Should Iran be given the right to have nuclear weapons?

As we all know of Iran’s intention to attack Israel if they get a chance. Moreover, Iranians have been found fueling the insurgency in Iraq. Acquiring of nuclear weapons will only degrade the situation. Who knows, Ahmadinejad may order a direct nuclear strike on Tel Aviv. Acquisition of nuclear weapons by Iran will no doubt trigger the start of World War III. What role does the West need to play to prevent Iran from getting their hands on nukes?

What many do not realize that the issues in the middle East involving Iran is reaching its boiling point. Its not seen as a “great threat” by the international community as of now, but once the boiling issues starts spilling over the edge, everyone will be “scalded by the heat” of the after effects.

USA is in the middle of federal elections now. The international community is more focused on global economic collapse than the issues in Iran. This cover, or lack of attention, is being used by Iran to their advantage. They may be accelerating their nuclear program at this very moment, but the international community has no way of knowing that.

The fact is that the world cannot afford to see a “Nuclear Weaponized Iran”, unless they welcome the third episode of the World War triology.

I recently got a chance to visit Number39, an IT and technology blog. While reading this, you may think that this is just another blog discussing a topic that is already saturated with countless other blogs out there. What new ideas does this blog have to provide?

Ok, there are other blogs out there, some of them quite popular and established amongst the readers. This is not something only a PHD graduate can figure out… But ask yourselves…do any of these blogs offer you articles in technology, incorporated with real life situations, easy to understand language and most of all, free of technology jargon’s?

You may find a very few blogs conforming to the above criteria, of which, number39 is one. You will never find an article on number39 stuffed with technical jargon’s that will need a computer programmer to decrypt. All posts and contents are carefully planned out and the administrators of the blog have taken extra precautions to give all their visitors a very easy to understand environment.

Putting content aside, the theme of the blog is very sleek and professional, which adds to the excellent contents provided by the blog writers. Based on a customized version of Revolution theme, the colors rightly depict the “bright” and “challenging” nature of the technology and IT niche. It may also portray the “bravery” of the admins in taking up the already saturated sector of technology and IT and applying their intellect in competing with other renowned blogs.

Number39 is owned and run by people interested in technology and blogging. You can view their profiles here. Number39 also holds contests on a regular basis where you can win prizes for just commenting (of course quality comments) on the posts. See it to believe it….

Financial Freedom- Yes it is possible!!!

Lets take a quick poll. How many of you have any sort of financial debt at your liability? House on mortgage? Tuition or personal loan from bank? Credit card debt? I can say with utmost confidence that all of you must be involved in some type of debt, either a few bucks to millions of dollars…

Then comes along the dream phrase for you, “Financial freedom”!!! Wow, financial freedom, it is achievable in this lifetime?

Yes it is. Let me explain more…

In the world of electronic banking, credit cards and quick loan facilities,. it seems virtually impossible to have any financial freedom. But leaving a life free of all financial constraints is possible. It just requires a bit more focus and personal discipline in order to live a life of comfort with financial freedom. Some realistic approaches is indeed needed to achieve this goal.

First things first!!!

You would go nowhere if you are not aware of all your debt sources. Not keeping a list of all your sources of debt is the first mistake many people make in their quest to achieve financial freedom. Get down making a list of all your debts…it would be better if you categorize your sources, such as; mortgage, credit card debt, and even money owed to friends!!! The latter may not seem as important but this is the most important item on the list, trust me!!!

Why?

Money owed to friends, relatives and workmates usually makes a small percentage of all our debt….at least in most cases. it may range from a few dollars borrowed that day to buy soda….to a few hundred dollars to repair that burst tire. This is usually the easiest category of debt to pay off, and settling this may give you self confidence in renewed vigor in order to reach that your ultimate goal….financial freedom. In order words, you achieve a sense of accomplishment, which motivates you in the long run.

While some financial advisers recommend you to first pay off the debts which accumulate high rates of interest, this is usually not a good approach. Yes, you may save money if you manage to settle your account before it accumulates more and more interest, but what if you loose hope in achieving financial freedom in the process. You will loose more than you will save as all your other debts accumulate. Rule of the thumb, settle debts which a realistically possible, and you have a feeling that you have accomplished something! It tends to be a small but significant factor in achieving total financial freedom.

What you have just dome above is prioritized your debt. You have made up your mind on which sources to pay off first.

Then comes paying off your essential debts, or I would say, bills and everyday expenses. These can be categorized as priority expenses, such as telephone bills, electricity bills, water and sewage rates, goods, travel, service expense, etc. You may also organize a sub category here to include entertainment, luxury and outdoor expenses.

Budget for the above items and calculate the remaining amount, called the net income at your disposal. Of course, you need to save a bit from your net leftover, so subtract this amount too.

Now sit down for a moment and think of these scenarios.

*Is it possible to pay in cash for your purchases from the local grocery store. If possible, take every opportunity to pay cash rather then presenting your credit card.

*Impulse buying…Always carry some cash around, so whenever you come across a item you “think” you need, fork out the cash instead of the credit card.

Memorize this witty phrase which will help you in your goal of achieving financial freedom.

“Make room in your wallet for cash rather than card”

Budget…who needs that crap anyway!!!

The fact is, everyone needs it, from a teenager who earns a few buck per week mowing lawns; to the owner of a multinational company, who handles millions of dollars every minute of the day. Budgeting becomes more important for those who are in the quest to achieve financial freedom. Budgeting is like a birds eye view of your money’s journey. It gives you a picture of how exactly money comes comes to you and through which channels it leaves you. At the end of the day, you will be surprised on how you manage to handle your money in the right way using this simple tool…budget.

Let me reitiarate now...Financial freedom is possible. You just need to put a bit more effort into implementing the above ideas in your life, the rest will just fill in…

Corruption in South American Powerhouse-Brazil

Craig Alden, and Englishman came to Brazil in the early 1990’s and established a sanctuary for children upon seeing the widespread poverty and struggles.

However, Craig was challenged by the local law authorities who were planning to use the sanctuary for housing drug dealers as well as a brothel. When Craig did not allow such to happen, the local law authorities put a charge of sexual abuse on him. Some children were lured into testifying against Craig, later on they revealed the truth.

In 2005, Craig was sentenced to serve in prison for almost half a century, the sentence was later reduced. Craig is still behind bars for something he did not do. Lets all join hands together to force out the truth.

Pyongyang blackmailing the West

September 26, 2008 by Forsaken

North Korea is indirectly blackmailing the Western World, and in particular, the good old USA. This issue is something no American will either support will tolerate, however, the leaders are continuously giving into the demands of this communist regime. Furthermore, all American tax-payers money is being used to cover this blackmail. What is the solution then? Do we turn our faces from Pyongyang’s unrealistic demands and further provoke them to continue with their nuclear ambitions. Or do we bend more and more into becoming the puppets of Pyongyang.

If America succeeds in giving a temporary halt to the nuclear crisis of North Korea, other rogue nations, namely Iran, will follow suite and start asking for ransoms in return for putting a stop to their support for terrorists, nuclear activities or other violent actions currently supported by them.

Its not through money but through strong diplomatic stance that the west can fight the war against terrorism. What if North Korea accepts the money today and reengages its nuclear activities tomorrow. Will the West send another shipment of taxpayers money to these terrorists?

European economies powered by fuel too?

Europe, the continent of natural beauty and rapid economic developments….This is the imagery one makes when thinking and discussing about Europe. The mention of this continent’s name does not ring the idea of rapidly increasing oil and food prices, as well as economy related demonstration on the streets…

However, lets face it. The USA, where the economy is powered by fuel, isn’t the only victim of the global shortage and increase in the price of crude oil. The European countries have also experienced similar scenario, if not on the same scale as North America.

The fact is that crude is traded in United States dollars is itself an indication of the impact of rising fuel prices on the global scale. Any changes in the US dollars affects fuel prices world over and this further stamps the idea that we are truly living in a global village…the name “globalization” is no longer a sci-fi.

Increase in fuel prices also impacts the prices of food. Everywhere in Europe, we see the trend of increase or decrease in the price of consumer foods whenever the price of fuel fluctuates.

The trend in Europe is now of car-sharing (people sharing cars), people cycling or walking to reach their destinations or using the public transport instead of their own motor vehicles. For people who live in the vicinity of their work place, this has become a normal trend.

There have been scattered but strong demonstration all over Europe in the wake of fuel price increase. Europeans are not keeping quiet; they are making their voices heard.

But isn’t it time to concentrate our energies in the quest for alternative fuel sources? Our dependency on crude has crippled our ability to become innovative in the energy industry. Lets ditch the crude and take alternative energy sources on board…

Mexico - from a foreigners point of view

Mexico, the land of premium refreshing coffee or a fool’s paradise? Whilst Mexico features some of the most stunning scenery and tourist destinations, does the country really appear what is it within?

Mexico is situated in one of the most powerful continent, be it military or economy. Despite that, the country itself lacks some of the most basic infrastructure. One can classify Mexico as a third world country.

Why do I say it bluntly, you may ask?

No, I do not have any personal agenda against Mexico or Mexicans. In fact, I am not the only one stating the obvious. Ask any person who has spent some time in this country and you will get the real answers.

Here are some of the comments you get from frequent travelers to Mexico…

* you are better off drinking water from the river than those running on taps if you fear water borne diseases.

*Be prepared to be kidnapped and/or killed by bandits and crime gangs.

*if you are an American, better have your will signed off before going to Mexico. American Hate gangs will drag you down anytime, anywhere and finish you off.

*If you are fond of lairs, you are in paradise when you reach Mexico.

Now the question arises…Are these facts…or a media spurned story to spread the propaganda. Are these personal opinions arising from emotions, or hate towards the citizens of Mexico? No body can answer these questions.

So what do I feel about Mexico?

Nothing much, except the urge to brew up another cup of warm coffee…..Mexican coffee, I mean….
