Preventing yourself from Sabotaging your Goals

Now you have decided on your goals and on the path to fulfilling them. However, some circumstances cause you to go off course and bend your mindset in achievement of the desired ambition? Or you have a feeling that you need to make a fresh start time and again? If you reading this, there is a great probability that you may be sabotaging or have sabotaged your ambitions time time in your life…

There are many reasons to go off course, however, for majority of the people, its usually lack of strong will power, non-belief in one’s own capacity, fear of being successful or unsuccessful or maybe a belief that you really do not deserve to succeed.

Why do we fear Success?

Sometimes the fear of coming out on the top is purely for the reason of not adapting to changes. Many individuals are usually satisfied with their existing lifestyle and they are not willing to bring about changes so easily due to uncertainty of the end result. Others like to live in complete isolation, away from the responsibilities, fame and insecurity that comes with success later, Generally speaking, success also brings along responsibilities… responsibilities which many people fear to shoulder.

Setting Unwanted Goals?

There are instances where people set goals which they really do not plan to achieve. Goals of these nature may be set in the ’spur-of-the-moment” situations, that people later realize is not really worth pursuing. Remember, the reason or situation behind achieving a particular goal needs to be strong enough to encourage the individual to go through the struggles and pain on the path laid ahead. Only a strong ‘willingness” to succeed would help people bear the difficult path of goal achievement.

So?

The first stage to overcoming the lack of interest in achievement your goal is to identify the reasons why you may be sabotaging your goals. You should rethink the goals you have set to see if it is realistic and achievable in the given time frame. For illustration, people on weight loss regime often set very high and impossible goals, such as loosing 40-50 pounds within one month. When no results are visible after the given time frame, people usually give up trying.

Secondly, ask yourself. Do you believe you can achieve the goals you have set for yourself and if you deserve it. Many fail to ask this question to themselves before starting to set any goals. You are the best person to tell you if your goals are realistic.

Then only you can succeed in your quest to overcome any obstacles in your life….

Include the Children in our Quest for Freedom and Justice

As humans and gifted with the ability to think and reason, we always strive to acquire human rights, namely freedom from cruelty, inhumanity and discrimination. However, we sometimes fail to achieve these due to several unforeseen circumstances.

Why Can’t We Include the younger Generation in our Quest for Freedom and Justice?

It is a widespread belief that children do not have the ability to stand up to demand for freedom, equality and justice as adult can. Sometimes, some religions, cultures and beliefs exclude children from all aspects of decision making.

While adults continue to fight for human rights every minute of their life, somehow, they have a notion that children do not need or deserve the same levels of freedom and rights. This type of thinking takes up most of the adults beliefs despite the paradox that it would seem OK to grant children a greater freedom in other aspects of their daily behavior and routines. Due to the innocence and “still developing” intelligence and knowledge of children, societies think that children do not demand or deserve the freedoms adults strive for.

Moreover, while adults protest against corporal punishment against them, they go on to encourage the same against children. “Spare the rod and spoil the child” is usually used as a justification to induce corporal punishment on children. Even prisons have passed laws to eradicate beating and back breaking labor against criminals, while our innocent children have to undergo the harsh punishments for minor infringements.
My opinion is that adults deserve “pain as punishment” for misdemeanor more than children do. The normsĀ  of society dictate that children are always learning on the expectations of the world and how they should behave in all the essence of the societies culture. Whilst nobody condones pain as a punishment, many adults still believe that physical pain, cruel and inhumane treatment are the ultimate ways to bring children on the path of righteousness. When adults find themselves forced to suffer punitive physical pain, we consider such treatment to be inhumane, cruel and unusual punishment, abusive treatment, and even torture in some cases, these are the same people who will either support or keep silent when children undergo the same punishment.

Windows 7 can only be worse if it builds on Vista. It is the current name for the next major release of Windows. It should go back to basics. Windows 7 Server is another product that we can expect to be released approximately at the same time that Windows 7 will hit the streets, and feature themes sound a lot like parts of Windows with which you are familiar. It will be a from-the-ground-up packaging of the Windows codebase; partially source, but not binary compatible with previous versions of Windows.

Windows 7 (formerly known as Blackcomb and Vienna) is the working name for the next major version of Microsoft Windows as the successor of Windows Vista! It was originally time-lined 2011, later reports put it at 2010; and now 2009 !

Windows 7 will be an evolutionary upgrade, just like every Apple OSX update has been. Why does everyone expect Microsoft to deliver a revolution every time they introduce a new product? Windows 7 Server is another product that we can expect to be released approximately at the same time that Windows 7 will hit the streets. Windows 7’s feature teams sound a lot like parts of Windows with which you are familiar. Because of the platform elements of Windows we have many teams that have remained fairly constant over several releases, whereas some teams are brand new or represent relatively new areas composed of some new code and the code that formed the basis of the team.

Windows 7 will include improved hardware- and software-based virtualization experiences. Windows 7 will be a from-the-ground-up packaging of the Windows codebase; partially source, but not binary compatible with previous versions of Windows. Performance of native applications can be increased, distribution sizes can be cut down, functionality can be added without the worry of breaking old applications, and the overall end-user experience can be significantly improved. Windows 7 (formerly known as Blackcomb and Vienna) is the working name for the next major version of Microsoft Windows as the successor of Windows Vista. Microsoft has announced that it is “scoping Windows 7 development to a three-year timeframe”, and that “the specific release date will ultimately be determined by meeting the quality bar.”.Windows 7 is expected to be released sometime in 2010.
